How to participate

  • Applicant must be a RPU residential electric customer
  • Applicant must own the appliance
  • Refrigerators and freezers must be regular household size (10-30 cubic feet)
  • Appliance will be picked up at no charge from your RPU billing account address
  • Limit one refrigerator, and/or one freezer, per household per calendar year
  • Curbside Pick-Up only. Refrigerator must be located outside of the premise/property.

* Miniature and commercially sized refrigerators and freezers do not qualify. Any freezer must be a standalone unit. RPU reserves the right to revise program requirements at any time.
