By moving your appliance outside prior to your pickup appointment, you'll allow our staff to safely collect and recycle your unit without physical contact with you. Thank you for your understanding.

Program Details
- $50 rebate will be an electric bill credit
- Rebates are credited on a quarterly cycle
- Applicant must own the appliance
- Applicant must be a City of Palo Alto Utilities (CPAU) account holder
- Refrigerators and freezers must be regular household size (10-30 cubic feet)*
- Appliance must be empty and clean at the time of pick up
- Appliance will be picked up from your CPAU service address
- Two units maximum per account per calendar year
