In light of the impact of COVID-19, we're committed to doing what's best for our customers and staff. Out of an abundance of caution, we are only collecting appliances from the outside of customer residences (driveway, patio, or porch) at this time. Moving your appliance outside prior to your pickup allows our staff to safely collect and recycle your unit while avoiding physical contact. Thank you for your understanding.

How to participate

  • $35 rebate check per qualifying refrigerator and/or freezer
  • Applicant must be a Estes Park Power & Communications residential electric customer
  • Applicant must own the appliance
  • Refrigerators and freezers must be regular household size (10-30 cubic feet)
  • Appliance must be in working (cooling) order, empty, clean and plugged in at the time of pickup
  • Water line must be disconnected
  • Appliance will be picked up at no charge from your Estes Park Power & Communications billing account address
  • Two units maximum per household per calendar year
  • Rebate check will be mailed within six weeks after appliance pick up
