Program guidelines
- Must be a residential electric customer of Eversource or UI.
- Must own the appliances in your home.
- Refrigerators and freezers must be regular household size (10-30 cubic feet).
- Appliances must be in working (cooling) condition, empty, clean (and plugged in) at the time of pick up.
- Two units maximum per household per calendar year.
- Water line must be disconnected.
- If you choose to leave your refrigerator or freezer outside, on a porch or in an open garage, state law requires that you remove all doors on the appliance. Click here to learn more.

What happens next?
- You'll receive a call to schedule pick up by ARCA.
- A rebate check per qualifying appliance* will be mailed to you within 6 weeks after the pickup.
* Miniature and commercially sized refrigerators and freezers do not qualify. Any freezer must be a standalone unit. Eversource and UI reserves the right to revise program requirements and incentive levels at any time. Rebates are subject to availability.

Please enter the number - digits only - of the street address listed on your residential electric bill (ex. an individual residing on 3021 Oak Street would enter 3021) and the account holder's last name as it appears on your electricity bill.
